ISO-K Conical Reducer

Basic concepts
Definition: ISO-K taper reducer is a vacuum fitting used to connect pipes or equipment of different sizes. It is mainly used in vacuum systems to achieve smooth transitions between pipes of different diameters, ensuring the sealing and fluid transmission efficiency of the vacuum system.
Standard: ISO-K represents a vacuum flange standard that follows relevant standards such as DIN 28404 and ISO 1609, ensuring the dimensional accuracy, interchangeability, and reliability of the product.
Structural characteristics
Material: Usually made of 304 stainless steel, it has good corrosion resistance, high strength, and good vacuum performance. It can withstand a certain pressure and temperature range and is suitable for various harsh working environments.
Appearance: It has a conical shape with a gradually changing inner diameter, gradually decreasing from the larger diameter end to the smaller diameter end, achieving connections between pipes of different sizes. This conical design helps reduce fluid resistance and turbulence in the transition zone, making fluid flow smoother.
Connection method: ISO-K flange connection is adopted, which is fixed by claw clamps. This connection method has the characteristics of easy installation and disassembly, and can quickly achieve the connection and separation between pipelines, which is convenient for equipment maintenance and repair.
